No entries will be taken on the day of the race.
Entries close at midnight on Sunday 15th May 2016 (or sooner if we reach our capacity of 2500 registrations).
Runners need to be at least 15 years old on the day of the event.
Yes, you can enter a group of up to 5 runners on each registration.
Unfortunately our course is not suitable for wheelchairs, pushchairs or buggies. The course has a few twists and turns and there will be times when the route is quite congested.

Yes, you can amend your details with the exception of your name. At point of registration you should have received an email from email@example.com with a link to access and amend your personal user profile. If for any reason you did not receive or retain this then please contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll do all we can to assist.
Your race pack, including your number, will be sent in the post approx. 2 weeks before the event.
Your race pack will include your running number and a race day guide with information to ensure you are ready for the event. Your running number will have your personal ‘electronic running chip’ fixed on the reverse of the number. This is activated as you cross the start & finish line and will give you your own personal ‘chip time’ to complete the course. Also included is a baggage tag. If you wish to drop your bag off in the secure baggage area whilst you run then please attach your baggage tag to your bag and present your bag at the secure baggage area before the start.
If you lose your race number please come to the help desk on the race day to have a replacement issued. The help desk is open from 0800hrs until the race starts. To have a replacement issued you must bring proof of entry, this can be a confirmation email or bank statement and photo identification. Please note there will be a limited number of replacement packs and these will be issued on a first come first served basis.

It’s best to arrive no later than 0830hrs to ensure you’re able to drop your baggage, visit the loos & relax.
Yes, at the start you’ll need to enter a pen that correlates with the estimated finishing time that you gave us when you registered. This ensures that you’ll run alongside others of comparable ability.

RULE 240 S 5 UKA SUPPLEMENT – HEADPHONES
The wearing of headphones, or similar devices, (other than those medically prescribed), is not permitted in races on any single carriageway road that is not wholly closed to traffic. This restriction does not apply to races held on dual carriageways provided that there are clear, structured separations between the separate carriageways. Competition Providers of races held entirely on roads closed to traffic may apply this condition where appropriate to local circumstances.
As the Worthing 10K is held entirely on roads closed to traffic, we do permit the use of headphones.
Yes but if your costume is really extreme then please liaise with the organisers.

Yes, the traffic management team will make preparations to open the roads based on a 90min running time. If you fall behind this schedule, you’ll still be able to complete the event but will be advised to run on the pavements.
Yes, there is a medical treatment centre at the start/finish and mobile medical resource covering the course.
All finishers of the Worthing 10K will receive a fabulous medal.
The results will be published on the event website shortly after the event has finished.
